PILATES IN THE SPIRIT OF YOU.

Nestled in the forest of Fairport’s Egypt Hills, Crescent Trail Pilates offers a retreat from the outside world. I’m Kate Wheeler, studio owner and NCPT® and my teaching is dedicated to you. My little studio was grown from my passion for helping others find joy in healthy movement.

Crescent Trail Pilates is ideal for students who crave a peaceful change in pace from larger clubs and expensive boutique fitness. Whether training privately or as a small group, students build vitality with a longevity of health in mind. Big things can happen is small spaces, and as a private practice, I love teaching one-on-one and small groups of no more than four students at a time - you are the center of attention here.

Pilates is for every body at any age. Come as you are! Crescent Trail Pilates offers affordable private training against a wooded backdrop in Fairport, NY and dynamic group classes at our Community Studio on Rte 31. Students here are all ages and from all walks of life. Practicing Pilates can result in the ability to move stress-free through daily life, and it builds strength, stamina, and ease far beyond the core!

It's liberating to move with freedom and ease, and the experience is possible for everyone.​ In addition to athletes, beginners, and Pilates teachers, I teach clients in a post-PT capacity: those navigating back pain, joint disease, and injury recovery are welcome at my studio.

My teaching is inspired by the unique needs of my students. All who learn at the studio have access to a full suite of Pilates apparatus including the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Tower, Mat and beyond. Leveled classes make progressing at an even pace on each piece of equipment achievable and fun. As of Spring 2024, I have a waitlist, but I would love to connect with you about opportunities to work together.

Joseph Pilates created his fitness regime almost 100 years ago with the vision for a healthier, happier community. The method can help you attain uniform strength, flexibility, efficient posture and movement alignment, better balance and coordination, improved breath capacity, joint health, and more.  By practicing Pilates you will witness positive transformations not just in your body but to your mindset.
